Braun Büffel launches 120th Anniversary Special Edition eyewear in Singapore

SINGAPORE, December 10, 2007 - Established eyewear distributor Sin Kwang Group, the official licensed partner of Braun Büffel, today launches the latest Braun Büffel eyewear collection in Singapore and regional markets such as Malaysia and Indonesia, in celebration for Braun Büffel's 120th Anniversary worldwide. This special edition range features 4 unique models (SG Mod: 97101 / 97102, FR Mod 17201/ 17202), each with three colours for men and ladies.

Sin Kwang Group will launch the Braun Büffel 120th Anniversary sunglasses in early December 2007 at the Braun Büffel Shop, and subsequently, the entire range including frames, in mid-December 2007, at all optical retail outlets island-wide. Braun Büffel is a recent entrant to the eyewear market, with an ambitious vision to create a holistic and global lifestyle brand that provides complementary eyewear products to its legendary leather products.

The packaging for Braun Büffel 120th Anniversary eyewear range will feature the special edition 120th Anniversary emblem on the leather wrapped aluminum case and on the micro-fibre cleaning cloth. The frames are constructed in matt stainless steel for lightweight durability with a unique "screw-less" hinge and rim design, an embossed Braun Büffel on the left temple, and a mini bull logo on the temple tips.

The new Braun Büffel eyewear range has models that unifies with the rich Braun Büffel heritage, seen to be chic and contemporary to cater to the fashionable young and everyone who loves a timeless brand. All Braun Büffel sunglasses come complete with gradient, ultraviolet (UV) protective lenses to shield wearers from the damaging effects of the sun's rays on eyes and yet allows wearers to read print at close range.

Braun Büffel has 120 years of history since 1887, started by master saddler and upholsterer Johann Braun, in the "leather" town of Kirn in Germany. The brand started with purses, carrier bags and school satchels. The name Braun Büffel means "brown buffalo" in German.

The Braun Büffel sunglasses in this range will retail from S$188 upwards, and frames from S$170 upwards, excluding the prevailing GST rates (goods and services tax), in Singapore.
