Swensen's serve up delicious seafood meals with "Shell We Dance"

A truly great start to a whole new year of delectable cuisines

SINGAPORE, 7 January 2008 - American restaurant chain, Swensen's is serving up new delicious seafood meals with the "Shell We Dance" promotion that will run for the month of January 2008, at all 22 Swensen's restaurants. This is a great start to a year of delectable cuisines as Swensen's chefs express their culinary expertise by selecting a specific focus every month to create brand-new recipes. This is to offer Swensen's diners with more varieties through different key ingredients as well as adding more ways of cooking and enjoying the dishes.

To start off this special 2008 promotion, "Shell We Dance" will focus on innovative and creative renditions of seafood favorites. Here are the items from the promotional menu:

Cha Cha Seafood Combo - S$21.90
Move to the beat of this all-star shell cast of crispy batter Crayfish, Mussels, Scallops, Soft Shell Crab and breaded King Prawn. Served with salad on a bed of U.S. fries and accompanied with a ginger mayo dip.

Mambo King Prawn Combo - S$19.90
Feel your taste buds dance with joy with succulent grilled King Prawns, Scallops and Mussels accompanied by spicy tomato sauce, sautéed vegetables and savory wild rice.

Tango Soft Shell Crab - S$18.90
Let your palates dance with delight as you savor the golden-fried Soft Shell Crab partnered by linguini, tossed with baby clams and shredded ham.

When ordered during weekdays from 11.30am to 2.30pm, each of these main courses comes with a Soup-of-the-Day and our Designer Dessert.

Sundae of the month of January 2008 is:

Apple Choco Crumble - S$7.60
Delicious Apple Crumble and Chocolate ice cream drizzled with caramel topping and hot fudge. Adorned with fresh strawberries and a dash of pistachios bits.

Diners enjoy S$1 off the Apple Choco Crumble when ordering any "Shell We Dance" creation. Cool Rewards & Kids Club members enjoy S$3 off.
