Porsche Design Eyewear presents new models in 2008

Sunglasses and correction spectacles are captivating due to their design and technology

Singapore, 31 January 2008 - Porsche Design presents the new spectacles models that combine innovative functionality and timeless purist design. The collection is being expanded to include ten new sunglasses and correction spectacles. All Porsche Design models, such as the sunglasses P'8440 and the correction frame P'8126 for example, meet even the highest demands with perfect workmanship and reliable quality.

The sunglasses model P'8440 was developed based on a true Porsche Design classic - the "exclusive spectacles" from the year 1978. The tight lines and the replaceable shield ensure a modern look. The spare shield is included with the product. The authentic retro look is also reflected in the range of colours: Light matt gold, matt titanium and dark grey, each with colour-matched replaceable lenses.

The Porsche Design frame P'8126 has a masculine and timeless presence. The front of the high-quality nylon frame is made of stainless steel. The polyamide sides with attractive colours ensure thrilling contrasts. The fastener between the front and the sides is also made of stainless steel and bears the Porsche Design logo. Nevertheless, the frame can also be glazed with progressive lenses.
