Swensen's brings hearts closer together with Valentine's Day "Feast of Love" meals and ice cream cakes

Diners will get a memorable picture taken instantly and a chance to win a holiday to Koh Samui*

SINGAPORE, 5 February 2008 - American restaurant chain, Swensen's is serving up special meals and cakes for loving couples young and old, to celebrate romance and love, on Valentine's Day 2008. For couples who would like to enjoy a celebratory and vibrant Valentine's Day dinner together, Swensen's will be serving 'lovey-dovey' items like soup with heart-shaped puff pastry, 'Love Tea' with heart-shaped straws, and even the all-famous Swensen's rendition of the Valentine's Day Cake for a memorable finish. Couples can even get their happy faces photographed in Swensen's, to be framed into a takeaway memento.

Valentine's Day Cakes - S$15.90*

Swensen's will be selling their signature heart-shaped Valentine's Day ice cream cakes from 30th January 2008 to 14th February 2008. Each cake weighs approximately 250gm. The two flavors include:

1) LoveStruck - Sticky Chewy Chocolate swirled with Butterscotch ice cream.

2) SweetHeart - Maple ice cream swirled with strawberry jam and diced almonds.

HSBC credit cardholders and full-time students studying at junior colleges, polytechnics, National University of Singapore (NUS) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), are entitled to a 10% discount off Valentine's Day Cakes.

Valentine's Day Set Meals - S$72*

The Valentine's Day 5-course Set Meal for two is available on both 13th and 14th of February 2008, and can be pre-ordered from 30th January 2008 onwards. The set meal includes the following:

1) Two sets of Soup-of-the-Day (with heart-shaped puff pastry)
2) Two sets of Iced Love Teas with heart-shaped straw
3) One set of Side Dish of your choice
4) Two sets of any food item of your choice (excluding soups, sides & party platter)
5) One Valentine's Day Cake

With every set meal ordered, diners can get a printed photograph of themselves dining at Swensen's, together with a photo holder sponsored by Canon Singapore, as well as a "Feast of Love" movie discount coupon at Cathay cinemas (entitled to S$2 off two tickets purchased). The first 150 to pre-book the set meals before 11th February 2008 will receive a pair of tickets to the "Feast of Love" movie preview on 13th February 2008 at Cineleisure Orchard (each Swensen's restaurant will issue 7 pairs of movie tickets).

All diners during this Valentine's Day are eligible for a lucky draw. The first prize is a pair of air tickets to the idyllic and romantic Koh Samui (sponsored by Bangkok Airways). The second prize offers a whole year's supply of Swensen's ice cream (one ice cream fondue per month). The third through seventh prizes will get a pair of Cathay movie vouchers (valid till end of April 2008, for any movie, excluding "No Free list" movies).
