FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (For Singapore Only)

Ray-Ban Presents the New Spring/Summer 2008 Sun Collection

Singapore, February 28, 2008 - Since 1937 Ray-Ban has been an expression of a unique and personal lifestyle, synonymous with independence, boldness and freedom. Authenticity and tradition are the values that have marked the history and success of the brand, making it a global agent of style and passion.

The new Sun collection for spring/summer 2008 re-proposes several of the most iconic shapes from Ray-Ban's history, partly renewing styles and colors and offering its own contribution of quality and personality to anyone who pursues a passionate and genuine style in life.

The new Ray-Ban Sun collection is made up of 16 models, nine in metal and six in acetate.

RB 3342
Lightness, wearability and style are the distinctive features of this metal model with a drop-lens front and a double bridge. With its clean lines and the utmost attention to detail, this model reveals in its contemporary nature the essence of the classic Ray-Ban style. The metal arms have plastic ends to ensure maximum comfort. The Ray-Ban logo appears on the arms. The color palette includes six distinct shades, including the special combinations of green lenses with shiny gunmetal (004) and black (006) and shiny gunmetal with anti-reflective brown lenses (004/51).

RB 4108
Injection-molded model with a strong style and an active, dynamic character. The classic, precise lines of the wrap-around front, with clean, robust features, are combined with wide, comfortable arms. The Ray-Ban logo is blocked out in metal on the arms. The color palette includes a variety of shades, in particular, the shiny black model with green lenses (601), shiny black with polarized grey lenses (601/58) and finally the shiny dark tobacco model with matching anti-reflective lenses (714/51).
RB 3350
Rich in style, with a decisive character and contemporary personality, these wrap-around glasses have a metal mask and injection-molded arms. The metal heel adds a two-tone effect, tying the rounded front to the wrap-around arms. The Ray-Ban logo, in blocked-out metal, is placed on the arms. Strong style and careful design repeat in the color choices that combine shaded grey lenses with shiny black (002/8G) or grey green lenses with a shiny gunmetal frame (004/71).

Spring/Summer 2008 Junior Sun Collection

As part of the new Spring/Summer 2008 collection, Ray-Ban presents new models made for children. These frames pay particular attention to the needs of the young: they guarantee extreme comfort in terms of wearability and, at the same time, powerful optical protection.

Four new models that one and all re-propose the genuine, direct Ray-Ban style, developed with light frames, contemporary design and lively colors.

The Ray-Ban Junior Sun collection for spring/summer 2008 is made up of 4 new models, 2 metal and 2 injection-molded.

RJ 9039S
This is a mask that holds its own with regards to adult models. The lightness of this model can be seen in the simple and effective lines of the frame. The model is entirely injection-molded and features a simple, direct front, supported by arms that continue the marked, strong line. The arms bear the Ray-Ban logo in blocked-out metal. RJ 9039S is offered in a wide range of colors that includes, in addition to black and metallic grey, pleasing, playful colors: from shiny pink with pink lenses (121/7E) to azure-blue with soft blue lenses (151/8F) and fuchsia-purple with grey green lenses (147/90).

OPTICAL 2008 COLLECTION UPDATE

The Ray-Ban Optical Update is made up of 20 new models, ten in acetate, three in metal and seven in titanium. The very prominent and significant presence of titanium is the true novelty of this update, as this material considerably affects the wearability of the glasses and the lightness of the frame.

RX 8586
A lightweight and well-proportioned model with a strongly contemporary style, this model is characterized by having the optical lenses and the nylon bar in dynamic and slightly rounded shapes. The acetate arm has a titanium core that increases its resistance and flexibility. The Ray-Ban logo is stamped on the arms near the lenses as well as on a small metal plaque placed on the outside of the flash of the arm. The range of colors includes, among others, shiny gunmetal (1000), and shiny black (1017).

RX 8587
Decisive lines, attention to detail and avant-garde materials are the distinctive features of these lightweight glasses with a squared front. The model is made entirely of milled titanium, a guarantee of solidity, flexibility and maximum comfort. The upper part of the front is embellished with a light graining that adds both a tactile and chromatic nuance to the model. The Ray-Ban logo is stamped on the arms. The acetate ends change color harmoniously from clear to the color of the metal of the arm. Ray-Ban's genuine style is reflected in the availability of the products in colors such as shiny gunmetal (1000), and shiny black (1017).
