Check Point Provides ENN Group with Efficient and Scalable Security

SINGAPORE, February 20, 2009 - Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced that ENN Group, a pioneer and specialist in the production and application development of clean energy in China, has adopted Check Point security appliances, event analysis and centralized management solutions in its headquarters and branch offices to completely revamp their security protection for existing and future needs.

ENN selected two Check Point UTM-1 Total Security™ 1000 series appliances which work as a cluster. The two-unit cluster provides dual standby and load balancing and can expand to an eight-unit cluster when needed. This allows ENN the scalability needed for their rapidly growing business. The Check Point UTM-1 Total Security appliances also increased the availability and redundancy of the network for their two ISP links from telecommunications services providers.

ENN mobile workers who need remote access can conveniently access internal resources at their headquarters via SecureClient™. In addition, ENN deployed SmartCenter™ for centralized management as well as the Eventia® Suite, Eventia Analyzer and Eventia Reporter, for security auditing and analysis. SmartCenter management tools simplify their upgrade tasks while the Eventia Suite assists IT administrators to analyze security logs in real time and provide customized reports for security audits.

In addition, six ENN branch offices deployed UTM-1 Total Security 450 appliances (now UTM-1 570) as well as the UTM-1 Total Security 270 appliances. These UTM security appliances provide the branch offices with total security protection.
