FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (For Singapore Only)
Sin Kwang Group of Companies launches Men's Spring/Summer 2009 Eyewear Collection
SINGAPORE, April 1, 2009 - Wearing a pair of glasses is no longer "nerdy" or "old fashioned" nor do sunglasses automatically mean "stylish". Wearing glasses is the current trend in Spring/Summer 2009, especially when mixed and matched with the right clothes. Sin Kwang Group* launches the Men's Spring/Summer 2009 Eyewear Collection from D&G, DKNY, Polo, Prada and LACOSTE that redefines and elevates eyewear fashion to a whole new plane.
Plastic and plastic/metal combination frames are the most popular this season. Dark or tinted lenses, especially the gradient ones, are also riding the current trend. The latest eyewear designs come in 2 extremes. One tends to be linear, futuristic and minimalist while the other being bold, loud and strong. Fashion logos have also become the most important decorations on the frames.
The Men's Trend
The Arch Puritans
Monochromes, especially white, remains in trend this season. Along with a uniquely fitted structure, the Arch Puritan style brings along the refined and clean look. A white or black frame fits perfectly with the Arch Puritan look even with prescription lenses.
* DD 6047, RRP from S$420
* DY 5046, RRP from S$330
* LA 12441, RRP from S$200
Wide Boy
If you are not into structures, you can opt for the Wide Boy look that is intentionally relaxed without being sloppy. Wide Boy emphasizes more on shapes and materials rather than colors. Put on a pair of shades with gradient tinted or prescription lenses. You can choose between a plastic frame or a mix of plastic and metal to enhance the look.

* PH 4038, RRP from S$380

Soft Touch
Skirts, silk, embroidery and lace are no longer reserved to the ladies. This look incorporates femininity into men's wear deliberately and proves that men can still be look masculine in these soft materials. So we say, 'it's the man who defines the clothes!' A pair of slick, angle-less or colorful eyewear will gel right in.
* LA 12436, RRP from S$200
* SPR 16LS, RRP from S$540

Preppy
