Altec Lansing brings BackBeat™ Stereo Headphones with Microphones to Singapore

Singapore, August 25, 2009 - Altec Lansing, a division of Plantronics Inc. and a market leader in digital audio, today announced the general availability of BackBeat™ Stereo Headphones with Microphones to Singapore. These wireless stereo headphones bring high quality mobile music and telephony together, in a stylish and cutting edge design.
Altec Lansing will launch 2 models of BackBeat, the 903 which connects to any Bluetooth device (A2DP profile), and the 906 which features a special Bluetooth™ adaptor to connect to non-Bluetooth enabled devices. Both devices allows users to wireless stream and control music on the go, and can be stored away easily in the pocket.
BackBeat 903 (SRP S$159)
The Altec Lansing BackBeat 903 is a wireless and truly comfortable headphone that delivers rich and full-spectrum stereo music, as well as the Plantronics dual-mic AudioIQ® voice technology for exceptional call clarity. BackBeat 903 works with stereo Bluetooth® devices (A2DP profile). Should users need to listen to others in the midst of listening to music, they simply need to tap the OpenMic™ button. The BackBeat also features a bass-boost feature for enhancing pop, rock, and other music which demands strong bass.
BackBeat 906 (SRP S$199)
The BackBeat 906 has all of 903's features, plus a special Bluetooth adaptor to stream music from non-Bluetooth enabled devices such as some MP3, iPod®, or other audio devices.

The BackBeat 903 and 906 are available in authorized resellers and retailers in Funan Digital Mall and Sim Lim Square.
