Singapore, September 12, 2009 - Altec Lansing, a division of Plantronics Inc. and a market leader in digital audio, today announced the general availability of two USB-powered portable stereo speakers, the BXR1220, suited for netbook and laptop users who demand plug-and-play speakers with good quality audio. For added bass, there is also a 2:1 version, the BXR1221, which is suited for enhanced gaming and stereo playback experience.
With the emergence of affordable netbooks and laptops, users are demanding enhanced audio to augment their computing, gaming and audio-playback experience. The emergence of instant messaging and audio and video conferencing, such as Skype, are also drivers for the demand of affordable and portable stereo playback speakers. Altec Lansing has researched this need and delivers the BXR1221 and BXR1220 USB-powered speakers to serve this demand.
BXR1220 (S$32 SRP)
The BXR1220 are a pair of USB-powered speakers (2:0) that have no need for any AC adapter, while delivering good quality audio through the 2-inch full range drivers with an Audio Alignment™ facility. These speakers feature a contemporary matt-black design that can complement any gaming, desktop or mobile computing environment.
The speakers feature the unique Audio Alignment™ facility, where the drivers, enclosure and electronics are balanced for optimum sound quality. The improved sound imaging provide vibrant and realistic sound.
