Club Rainbow Celebrates Mid-Autumn Festival & Children's Day With Ice Cream and Dessert Buffet Treat at New Swensen's ION Orchard

SINGAPORE, 2 October 2009 - Swensen's is hosting kids and their families from Club Rainbow for an ice cream and dessert buffet treat at the newly opened Swensen's ION Orchard on October 3, 2009, in celebration of the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival and Children's Day. In conjunction with the charity lunch and Children's Day, Swensen's is also launching its new mascot, Snow-e.

Swensen's ION Orchard outlet is by far the largest Swensen's in Singapore. It is made for family gatherings and celebrations, with the new and popular Ice Cream and Dessert Buffet, jumbo dishes such as the Jumbo Seafood Pasta, and Asian favorites such as Crayfish Bee Hoon Soup and Claypot Spicy Laksa.

Club Rainbow beneficiaries and families will be entertained by a roving clown magician and activities such as balloon sculpting, face painting, puppet making, shrink art etc. In addition, every guest will be treated to the Ice Cream and Dessert Buffet and the popular Jumbo Seafood Baked Rice. At the end of the event, kids will bring home door gifts, including ice-cream mooncakes.

Launch of Swensen's Mascot

To mark Swensen's 30th anniversary, the first Swensen's Mascot, Snow-e, an adorable polar bear with heart melting black eyes and an endearing red nose will be launched. For the month of October, customers can purchase a limited edition Swensen's Mascot tumbler (Usual Price S$9.90) at only S$3, and at S$2 for Kids' Club members, for every Kids' Meal ordered. This acrylic tumbler can be personalized with inserts for names or given a brand new look for different occasions.
