RSS (Really Simple Syndication, or Rich Site Summary) is a bandwidth-friendly news feed technology that alerts you of the latest news when they become available, using what is known as a RSS client software, or a RSS-compatible Web browser. Many news and media sites now feature RSS feeds as a means to reduce information clutter for their customers.
There are many RSS client software out there, but we list just one below, for its cross-platform compatibility (works on Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and UNIX). You may visit RSS Compendium for the updated list (a LONG list!).
- AmphetaDesk - One of the best RSS readers, FREE (Win, Mac, UNIX)
Once you installed the RSS client software, simple copy rss.microwire.info into your RSS client software, and store it as a bookmark there.
