Swensen's revamped Weekend Breakfast brings greater value for that all delightful morning experience

14 wholesome breakfast sets available in all Swensen's restaurants*

SINGAPORE, 30 January 2008 - American restaurant chain, Swensen's is serving up its revamped Weekend Breakfast meals, 8 AM to 11 AM, including public holidays in 20 out of its 22 restaurants*. Families can now enjoy their weekend mornings at Swensen's for that all delightful breakfast menu offering great value and a wide selection.

The Weekend Breakfast meals brings together the most appreciated and loved ingredients, such as freshly made pancakes, creamy scrambled eggs, jumbo herb sausages, crispy French toast, yogurt fruit salad, and even gourmet selections such as Eggs Florentine and Eggs á la Ben. Priced at only S$6.90 to $10.90, Swensen's breakfast set meals are also served with fruit juice and tea or Gloria Jean's coffee to complete the experience.

Here are the items from the breakfast menu:

Hearty American Breakfast set - S$10.90
Kick start your day with this wholesome meal, complete with 2 slices of crispy Traditional French Toast, fluffy Scrambled Eggs, Jumbo Herb Sausage, Ham, Hash Brown, accompanied with creamy mushrooms and grilled tomato.

Country Style Pancakes set - S$8.90
You can choose from 5 delectable choices of freshly made Country Pancakes served with a hearty mix of cheese sausages, scrambled eggs, hash brown, creamy mushrooms and grilled tomato. The choices include classic buttermilk pancakes, blueberry pancakes, cheese pancakes, banana pancakes and ham pancakes.

French Toast set - (Traditional S$6.90, Ham & Cheese S$7.30)
You can have 2 thickly sliced French Toast fried to golden brown perfection or Traditional French Toast stuffed with ham and cheese, served with sunny-side up egg. Cheese sausages, creamy mushrooms and grilled tomato.

Jumbo Sausage set - S$8.90
For those who delight in hearty sausages, check out our scrumptiously grilled Herb Sausages atop a slice of traditional French toast. Served with buttery mashed potato, creamy mushrooms and grilled tomato.

Eggs Galore set - S$7.30
Eggs as you like it! Select from our made-to-order Fluffy Omelette, Sunny-Side Up Eggs or Creamy Scrambled Eggs. Served with traditional French toast, cheese sausages, hash brown, creamy mushrooms and grilled tomato.

Gourmet Selections - S$9.90
Choose the Eggs Florentine set with 2 delicately poached eggs, nestled on a bed of creamy spinach. Served with buttered sourdough toast, cheese sausages and grilled tomato on the side; or the Eggs á la Ben set with traditionally poached eggs and ham on buttered sourdough toast, covered with tangy honey mustard sauce. Served with cheese sausages and grilled tomato.

Light & Tasty Fruit Yogurt Salad Mix - S$6.90
Keep the carbohydrate low with the ultimate mélange of fruits tossed with a generous serving of natural yogurt and sun-dried raisins.

Banana Pancakes set - S$5.30
Dig into yummy warm banana pancakes served with cheese sausages, crispy potato bites and a small dose of fresh fruit salad.
